I have little doubt that the Planet of the Apes origin story will be popular enough to take the top spot this week.

Consensus

The Change-Up: It’s another of those R-rated comedies that look like every other R-rated comedy.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes: This is a divisive film for those who don’t expect much from it.
Magic Trip: Not exactly the type of documentary that gets us going.

Thoughts After the Tim Burton failure, I was a bit skeptical about this proposed reboot (a prequel to the many films of the franchise), but the trailer gives me hope that I may not be disappointed. After the Tim Burton failure, I was a bit skeptical about this proposed reboot (a prequel to the many films of the franchise), but the trailer gives me hope that I may not be disappointed.
