Review: (#1, C+) For monster movie fans, this certainly gives a sense of scale and sets the battle over a small town. It surprisingly lacks energy even while featuring motion. The foreground is particularly dull as is the sky.

Review: (#1, C+) There isn’t much of the plot presented in this trailer so it appears to be strictly for fans of the first film. That said, the effects in the last scene of the trailer look pretty solid so if they can find a way to show the audience that it’s got great visuals and a compelling plot, it might be able to break out of its limited audience potential.

(#2, C+) This makes a suitable final trailer for a monster movie that has been clearly inspired by the Godzilla films. It throws too much action at the audience and feels like it leaves everything on the table rather than holding back things that might be suspenseful if barely hinted at.
