Review: (#1, C+) Reminiscent of Irwin Winkler’s De-Lovey, a biopic of Cole Porter, this look at a moment in time for Lorenz Hart suffers from the same underwhelming filmmaking, poor cuts, and occasionally compelling performances. It’s no wonder the film didn’t emerge as a major contender after its festival debut in Berlin.

Oscar Prospects:

Richard Linklater has had some amount of success at the Oscars but has also failed to show up many times. This looks like it could be borderline, leaning towards a miss.
