None of the week’s wide releases seems like a box office champion, so I’d have to say Eden probably has the best chance of coming out on top.

OTHER RELEASES

We are only looking at films that have had trailers released on Rotten Tomatoes’ trailer YouTube Channels. Below are some other films that are releasing this weekend that we haven’t considered.

Afterburn (Limited)
Dongji Rescue (Limited)
Hell House LLC: Lineage (Limited)
Hollywood Grit (Limited)
Lilly Lives Alone (Limited)
Primitive War (Wide)
Trust (Limited)
We Strangers (Limited)

WIDE RELEASES
EDEN HONEY DON’T! NE ZHA 2

Eden

Wesley Lovell: Ron Howard hasn’t made a good movie since the 1990s, at least not one I’ve had interest in seeing. Nothing about this trailer looks that good.

Pete Patrick: Moderately interesting looking thriller.

Thomas La Tourrette: The thriller does not seem like a good fit for director Ron Howard. I am not sure he knows what to do with people behaving badly.

Honey Don’t!

Wesley Lovell: While I like the stars, the premise hasn’t sold me.

Pete Patrick: Seems to be one of Ethan Cohen’s lesser efforts.

Thomas La Tourrette: This thriller is trying to be a comedy, but it looks like a misfire.

Ne Zha 2

Wesley Lovell: Didn’t have an interest in the original and have no interest in its sequel.

Pete Patrick: Animated Chinese film looks like it might be engrossing.

Thomas La Tourrette: I have not even heard of the original, and while the graphics look decent I will probably pass on this animated film.

LIMITED RELEASES
LURKER RELAY SPLITSVILLE

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: A couple of interesting potentials this week but nothing I want to rush out and see.

Pete Patrick: David Mackenzie’s Relay looks to be the best of this week’s releases.

Thomas La Tourrette: All three movies, especially Lurker, have good early reviews but none of the trailers really makes me want to see them.
