Review: (#1, C+) You would be forgiven if a first glance at this design made you think it was a Mad Max film. And certainly the aesthetic fits that but the title thankfully tells you it isn’t but even then it’s not a very inspiring effort.
(#2, B) The color is unappealing though seldom used. The foundation of the images within the Ralph Fiennes image are interesting and create some solid connections to the film’s narrative.

Review: (#1, B-) Why this sequel was greenlighted so recently after the release of its predecessor mutes some of its impact. The first three films were spread years apart, which allowed them to breathe. Sure, this one follows a character from the third film and thus feels the need for more immediacy but while it feels like a cash grab, there’s no doubt that the content does carry some appeal.
(#2, C) Digging deep into the film’s premise, there’s some interesting elements to the narrative but none of it creates an exciting or riveting concept.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
