Synopsis:

From IMDb: “A determined undersized goat defies expectations by joining an elite team in roarball – a dangerous sport where animals compete on hazardous, ever-changing courts. With his diverse teammates, he must prove he belongs in the fierce League.”

Review: (#1, C+) A corny tagline certs this poster on the right emotional track but the dearth of details and the limited nature of the titular duality make this initial effort a tough sell.

(#2, B) The first question is why is there an “I” in the “O” of the title. Probably not intentional but distracting. Featuring many of the film’s characters in one design works well enough but the lack of compelling background doesn’t quite enhance the product.

(#3-#25, C) These have to be among the laziest character designs ever creating. No background, just black. Plus titling and one character image, each in the same position. Perhaps because there were so many they didn’t want to waste time on them but whatever the reason, the cheapness shines through. (#26-#28, C+) These format designs are uninspired and rudimentary.

Review: (#1, C+) If you’ve seen one kid’s film, you’ve seen most of them. As generic and lamely funny as you would expect from a film using this particular acronym, there’s not much here that ties it into the far more adult-friendly and appealing Spider-Verse animated films.

(#2, B-) While many of the “roarball” scenes have been left out of the trailer, not much else has. This is one of those trailer designs that’s just too far into the give-the-show-away realm than it should be. While some of the characters are cute and the humor is adequate in places, it looks like a fairly pedestrian effort.
