This weekend, looks to either be a rather drab one. Although between Regretting You and Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, the latter is going to be the box office champ, unless it’s a bigger hit than the last few musician biopics, it will be a rather dispiriting box office weekend. That said, there is a potential fly in the ointment. Chainsaw Man is the latest anime to put its episodes on the big screen and while some of have been quite successful, many haven’t. Will this be one of the better performers? We’ll see but it’s possible with little else to entertain people this weekend.

Wesley Lovell: I’m intrigued by the trailer but it will probably just be another disposable romcom.

Pete Patrick: Looks like a sappy romance film.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

Wesley Lovell: Can’t say the film appeals to me. Most modern musician biopics feel the same and since I’m not a fan of Springsteen’s, I can’t same I’m otherwise interested.

Pete Patrick: Looks like a misfire but it seems too important to totally ignore.
