Review: (#1, C+) Limiting your visual gags to a handful of rather dull background features is important to sell a spoof like this but the foreground never energizes the viewer’s interest in looking for the details.

(#2, C) A few of the same affectations of the previous set but nothing of measurable improvement. The empty background makes it stand out but not excitingly.

Review: (#1, B) Many popular movies over the year have had spoofs made about them. The most notable being the Airplane! films. While the Downton Abbey series was popular, the films only did modestly well so a spoof of them seems an unlikely choice but here we are. Taking inspiration from the setting but not the content, Fackham Hall looks like a traditional British comedy that has some Monty Python-esque moments but also some Airplane!-like cheesy humor. It does have a certain appeal for fans of both the stuffy British manse genre and spoofs but could be modestly engaging.
