Review: (#1, C+) You’d be forgiven for thinking this film is a refugee from the Hallmark Channel but with bigger names than they could likely afford. That doesn’t overcome its tackiness or obvious elements that never allow the material to seem interesting rather than pointlessly glossy.

Review: (#1, C+) Although it doesn’t quite look like the Hallmark escapee the poster suggests it might be, it doesn’t entirely avoid those comparisons either. Kiefer Sutherland doesn’t look like he’s enjoying himself and seems focused on delivering a mediocre performance as a mediocre actor trying to reconnect with his daughter. Rebel Wilson, despite having co-star billing, is barely in the trailer and feels like an unimportant side hustle.
