There’s zero question Wicked: For Good will top the box office. Whether it’s the biggest opening of the year is an open question.

Wesley Lovell: It looks a bit soppy and not the least bit interesting.

Pete Patrick: It’s getting mixed reviews but might be worth a look.

Thomas La Tourrette: It will be interesting to see what Brendan Fraser does in his first post-Oscar winning performance. The reviews are mostly good and it looks sweet.

Sisu: Road to Revenge

Wesley Lovell: I didn’t have any interest in the first film, the sequel doesn’t improve that.

Pete Patrick: Haven’t seen the original, have no desire to see the sequel.

Thomas La Tourrette: I did not see the original film and while it has strong reviews and an interesting premise, the over the top violence does not thrill me.

Wicked: For Good

Wesley Lovell: The first film was terrific and I have high hopes for its finale.

Pete Patrick: Should be a box-office bonanza just like the first one.

Thomas La Tourrette: I found the first movie thrilling and hopefully they can recapture the magic of it. The reviews are surprisingly mixed but I am looking forward to it.

Thomas La Tourrette: While the trailer does not sell the movie, the reviews make this queer love story sound worthwhile.
