Review: (#1, D) What’s the point of a movie poster if you’re not going to do anything exciting with it. Leading with a definition of the word is interesting as it ties into the film’s sense of unease but it’s simply unappealing and unnecessarily bold in crimson.

(#3, C++) Although this is just a scene from the film with a different background added, it does speak to the stalkerish nature of the film’s premise and that’s at least somewhat appealing.

Review: (#1, C) It’s never fun just to watch a scene from a film unfold. While it does present the narrative fairly succinctly, there’s nothing to explain what brought the protagonist to this position in the first place and without a rooting interest, it won’t draw many.

(#2, C-) Throwing more images at the audience without context does not improve their interest. There’s no building of suspense and while it gives more than the first trailer did, none of it is more compelling. It’s almost like they don’t have a very good movie and can’t find anything worth exciting an audience with.

(#3, B) The second time around, the audience gets a better explanation of the film’s plot and suggests some of the uncomfortable elements of the film (not all related to bloodlettings) will be different for most horror films. Unfortunately, the tension isn’t quite at its peak and the end result is something that looks modestly interesting but which won’t likely encourage theatrical viewership.
