If a result other than Avatar: Fire and Ash at the top of the list occurs, it will be the shock of the century.

OTHER RELEASES

We are only looking at films that have had trailers released on Rotten Tomatoes’ trailer YouTube Channels. Below are some other films that are releasing this weekend that we haven’t considered.

David (Wide)
Cover-Up (Limited)
Mission Santa: Yoyo to the rescue (Limited)
The Voice of Hind Rajab (Oscar Qualifying Run)

WIDE RELEASES
AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH THE HOUSEMAID THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SEARCH FOR SQUAREPANTS

Avatar: Fire and Ash

Wesley Lovell: The first two were enjoyable so we’ll give the third a go.

Pete Patrick: I couldn’t get through either of the first two, I am not even going to try with this one.

Thomas La Tourrette: As always the visuals are stunning, but there may not be that strong a story to hold it together.

The Housemaid

Wesley Lovell: An appealing cast with a comedy director trying their hand at psychological horror might be interesting.

Pete Patrick: The trailer is very off-putting.

Thomas La Tourrette: Nothing in this thriller looks that appealing.

The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants

Wesley Lovell: Never had an interest in this character.

Pete Patrick: I never cared for the character.

Thomas La Tourrette: I have never been a fan of SpongeBob and nothing in the trailer changed that.

LIMITED RELEASES
IS THIS THING ON?

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Bradley Cooper’s latest film could be worth a go but it doesn’t look that appealing.

Pete Patrick: This comedy-drama has strong reviews, but the trailer looks more depressing than funny.

Thomas La Tourrette: It has pretty decent reviews, but the trailer did not urge one to see this film about a divorcing couple.
