Review: (#1, C) Apart from the nice use of green, the color is bland and uninteresting.

Trailer Rating: C+

SEE ALL TRAILERS BELOW
Review: (#1, C+) For all the praise the film has received from critics, you wouldn’t be able to understand why from this trailer. There’s a briefly salience referenced but the plot is given so little attention that it ends up feeling like a protest film without something familiar to protest.

Oscar Prospects:

Argentina’s submission to the Oscars for Best International Feature was shortlisted, so it’s among fifteen films that could pull off nominations in that category. Unfortunately, it’s pitted against several films that are likely to score nominations in other categories, so it has to fight for one maybe two slots that won’t be taken by those films. Still, it has a decent shot.
