Review: (#1, C) If you already know who Madden is, then this trailer might generate some interest. The older the audience, the more likely that happens but what the plot is remains to be seen. We also get too little time with Nicolas Cage in the role to know if it’s a decent performance.

Oscar Prospects:

David O. Russell is usually in the conversation for Oscar nominations but sports films struggle with the Academy’s voters. That said, better to bet on the director’s capability than the subject matter’s.
