Review: (#1, C+) It’s a simple design with a lot of wasted space but it’s colorful and reminiscent of 60s poster designs and makes for an interesting viewing.

(#2, B-) A brazenly colorful design that doesn’t do much in the way of creative energy. Featuring the entire cast in differing shades of hair, eyeglasses, makeup, and costuming gives it energy but also feels relatively staid with the white titling difficult to read on top of the vast array of colors.

Review: (#1, B) There’s a chaos to this trailer that makes it difficult at times to follow along with the narrative but it’s just bonkers enough that it might build some interest in potential viewers. The colors are vibrant and that makes its content a little more intriguing as well. There’s no one to get excited about seeing in the trailer but that might not matter when it creates a vibe like this.

(#2, B+) The first trailer did some work on establishing the premise but it makes a lot more sense in this trailer, which is a vibrant effort that creates plenty of drama and highlights the comedic elements of its absurdist reality.

Oscar Prospects:

Although I doubt it will get nominated, production design and costume design could both be in the cards.
