Review: (#1, C+) Taking moments from the film and insetting them into one another is a solid idea but is not terribly well executed.

Review: (#1, B) There are some interesting ideas floating around in this trailer but they are poorly conveyed with pacing that feels plodding rather than exciting. As a science fiction film, it needs a bit more of that scientific-mysterious air the makes truly great sci-fi sing.

Oscar Prospects:

It was on many lists last year as a potential Oscar contender but it was held back. The February release date is worrisome and early buzz is decidedly negative, so this is probably a Visual Effects contender only.
