Review: (#1, C) A two panel effort using shots from the film to create a sense of romantic enticement. In the film, it could come off well but in a poster design it looks rudimentary, especially with lettering as featured in this design along with actor names placed oddly in the far corners of the poster in colors that aren’t easy to read against the given backdrop.
(#2, C) The softness of the design may tie into the femme-friendly aesthetic but the yellow and pink lemonade-esque style is overbearing while the central image is minimal but lightly provocative, at least for some audiences. (#3, C) Girls vibing is certainly a concept but it’s not one that creates the kind of appeal a cinematic endeavor should convey.
Trailer Rating: B

Review: (#1, B) The trailer drags a bit and gives too much of the premise away but it has a naturalistic feel with a romantic core that should create some interest from queer and indie enthusiasts even if it doesn’t have a lot of broad appeal.
Oscar Prospects:
The June release is a bit odd for a movie like this but that could bolster its chances early for Oscar consideration or it might knock it out early on.
