Review: (#1, B-) It’s rudimentary, sure, but it gets a lot of information out simply. The decaying house in the background, the creepy doll mask, the grasping nature of their pursuit, it all plays into the film’s premise better than a lot of modern horror films and its refusal to rely entirely on the overused black-white-red visual thematic is appreciated.

Review: (#1, C+) There are only so many ways to sell horror films these days, there’s a certain lack of inventiveness in trailer design even when narratives have some intriguing uniqueness. This trailer is a perfect example, you can pick through the commonplace structure of the trailer to find a film that looks modestly interesting but conventional often has a way of tamping expectations.
