Review: (#1-#2, B-) As interesting as the concept is, with the reminiscence of soldiers on the beach, this pair of designs is engaging even if limited in scope and richness of design. (#3, C) Then there’s a design that’s utterly absent of creative energy with the blues and oranges contrasting in the least pleasing way.

Trailer Rating: C / C

Review: (#1, C) There have been so many attempts to look back at World War I and World War II and highlight its important figures in recent years that it’s difficult to see any of these as much more than historical novelties that will be easily forgotten. An American twist on Darkest Hour, this tepid war drama wastes the likes of Brendan Fraser, Kerry Condon, Andrew Scott, and Damian Lewis.

(#2, C) Attempting to make this World War II drama exciting, the designers have put together a tense trailer that doesn’t quite change the intensity of the prior nor does it make the film look more exciting. Adding in the “praise” the film has received almost entirely from Letterboxed reviews is certainly missing the point of having professionals assess the value of the production and I doubt they’ll have quite the impact on the box office the producers hope.

None.
