Review: (#1, B-) This design is quite confusing. While it’s intended to establish a weird connection to the natural world, it’s too difficult to parse and understand and might need the full movie experience to make full sense. Still, the subtle blue-green chain link fencing blended with the chains in certain segments establish some elements of the premise.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) There are two ways confusing trailers can resolve. The first is it can create a sense of anticipation by its oblique nature. The second is by generating a utter sense of disconnect with the story and not feeling it will be worth the effort. This preview tends to fall into the second category. The narrative isn’t well explained and the content has some interesting frames but can’t quite make the effort look like anything compelling.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
