Review: (#1, C) The titular forbidden fruits are dully arrayed in an attempt to make this seem like a crass feature with bloody tastefulness. (#2-#5, C) These white-backgrounded character posters are exceptionally dull with tacky, wrong-colored drips of blood and lifeless poses. (#6, C+) The white background is glaring but largely minimal, though putting that behind lettering makes it harder to read. The insistence of putting actor names over different character heads is distracting and the overuse of red/blood motifs is aggressively bland. Throw in a contrasting title and you have something that’s mediocre but at least not dull.

Review: (#1, C & #2, C+) There’s a subtle hint at some clever, witty banter from the actors but the Heathers vibe they are cultivating doesn’t quite succeed. The first trailer creates a bit of confusion as to the purpose of the film while the second goes into a bit too much detail without saying anything at all.
