Review: (#1, C) The figure in the background isn’t quite distinct enough. While it might play better at full size in a movie theater, it remains a rather tepid effort all things considered. (#2, C) This suggestions a religious aspect to the film that isn’t very evident in the trailer (despite the reference to Saint Christopher). It also employs the overused black-white-red motif that makes for a mediocre output.
(#3, C) Although the trailer has only a brief religious impact, the return to the inverted cross as a motif is disappointing. This does remind of some Stephen King horror novel covers of the past but without the forest-set elements making an appearance, it looks underwhelmingly empty.

Review: (#1, C) For a trailer that isn’t terribly long, it sure feels like it drags itself across the two-minute mark. While trying to establish the premise, the action stumbles onto the scene and eventually ramps up to something that looks intense but mired in its own self-importance.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
