Review: (#1, C+) Giving the two draws a dominant space on the design will remind viewers of the stars but the underwhelming use of the “2” and the cheap beige dots used to create detail make for a generic looking effort. (#2, C) The excessive use of black to blend figures into the background without creating background detail makes this stand out in the worst way.

Review: (#1, B-) For fans of the first Practical Magic, this will obviously delight them. There’s not much of a hint of plot but it has familiar actors that will likely energize the target audience and perhaps will turn into a generational sharing experience.

(#2, B) The plot gets a bit stronger in this second trailer highlighting the content and stakes well. Sandra Bullock makes a triumphant return by Nicole Kidman looks like she’s flailing a bit.
