Review: (#1, B-) An overly touched- up affair that nevertheless has a lot of style and thought without providing enough details to make it incredibly engaging.

(#2, C) It’s interesting that the French title is Oklahoma Honey instead of something more similar to the American title. The design itself is utterly lacking in excitement, energy, or creativity. It appears to take one element of a still image from the film (ironically, the still attached to this preview page) and resets it somewhere else. If you recognize the beehives in the background, the title makes sense but there’s just nothing worth looking at here.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: (#1, C) The trailer creates an ambiance of an antebellum thriller of big business putting down lesser entities and working towards minimizing their efforts. What the trailer doesn’t do is make any of the characters likeable or intriguing enough for the narrative to be enticing.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
