Review: (#1, C+) Most of the moments featured in this poster are in the trailer, which ties it together well. Unfortunately, the limited information provided by these small insets does very little to explain what the movie’s about. The oppressive white background is distracting while the Rubik’s Cube coloring of the lettering (and thus kind of playing into the square insets) doesn’t add measurably to the creative energy. (#2, C) From a design that tries hard to be unique but fails to this effort that doesn’t seem to try at all is a disappointing downward trajectory. It might tell us about a single moment in the film but it does little else. The split of the adult woman across both sides the poster is nonsensical.
