Review: (#1, C+) If you’re trying to sell a sequel to the first film, featuring its protagonist?/antagonist? seems the wise thing to do but not trying to create anything aesthetically intriguing is a miss.

Review: (#1, B) Fans of the original probably won’t need much to excite them for this film’s prospects and it doesn’t disappoint. There are a lot of sly bits of humor but also a ton of clunky action set pieces, cringe-worthy one-liners, and not a lot otherwise to sell the film. That said, things perk up a bit when Kristen Bell arrives but not enough to change the film’s action trajectory.
