Review: (#1, B) Reminiscent of TV movies of the 1970s and 1980s, this period drama wants its love story to be compelling without being manipulative and for the most part, it succeeds. Lots of sexy characters in tumultuous romantic drama is sure to be appealing to a small demographic of audiences but won’t likely make it an unqualified hit.
