Review: (#1, C) This German poster looks like a one-page thank you ad taken out in a major magazine. Perhaps that’s the intention but the trailer doesn’t tie into that choice in the least. (#2, C) Using the same general aesthetic with the yellow-gold borders but without the rear angle or the expansive text doesn’t improve the design much at all.

Review: (#1, C) Conveying the film’s premise subtly, this German-language film struggles to find a narrative hook that will intrigue audience beyond those who are interested in seeing well regarded non-English language features. Little of the reason the film is a festival award winner comes through.

Oscar Prospects:

Sandra Hüller will either prove someone can get double nominated in the lead acting category or will miss altogether and, if she does, this will likely be the performance that gets left off.
