Review: (#1, C+) Natives of Nashville might be able to identify some of the background details but most won’t and apart from the cowboy hat and the film’s title, there’s not enough here to tell the viewer what the film is about.

Review: (#1, C) Jessica Chastain’s ability to select projects seems to be abysmal. This film looks like a paint-by-numbers country murder mystery that doesn’t find new ground or original ideas to intrigue the viewer, not enough the very narrow demographic who might find such an effort appealing.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
