Plot Summary: Tarsem Singh’s comedic re-interpretation of the classic Grimm Brothers fairy tale pits a beautiful girl against a vain queen intent on marrying the handsome, wealthy prince.

Commentary: Poster was a placeholder at the time this post was written. 		Rating: B-
Commentary: Some of the comic elements are so outlandish that shaking your head while watching the trailer is a requirement. Still, they couldn’t have chosen a better Prince Charming in Armie Hammer and some of the humor is quite infectious. The early release date doesn’t give me hope, but Singh’s visual panache should help distract from the glaring issues with the film.

Oscar Chances: Art Direction and Costume Design are the film’s only hopes as the rest of the film will be quickly forgotten by year’s end.
