Beauty and the Beast 3D: No one’s certain if this wonderful film should have been touched by the 3D craze. Contraband: If it’s your style of film, check it out. Otherwise, it’s probably best to stay home. Joyful Noise: While it might have some fun elements, it’s not exactly opening in a month that gives us hope. Loosies: It might be a nice rental on DVD, but otherwise it’s probably not of much interest to most.
It’s been 20 years since I saw this in the theater and I’m intrigued enough by one of my favorite animated features going to 3D that I will likely go to see it.

Beauty and the Beast remains my favorite Disney film, but I am not a fan of 3D so I will continue to treasure it at home in 2D on Blu-ray, thank you very much.
