Not to be confused with the Guardians of Ga’Hoole. This one will actually be good.

Rise of the Guardians

Plot Summary: The Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Sandman form an elite fighting team that sets out to protect the earth’s children from a creeping doom.
Release Date: November 21, 2012

Trailer
Rating: B
Commentary: I fully expect a more garish poster at some point closer to the release date, but this simple teaser design is fresh, intricately and interestingly designed, and may be one of the best placeholders in years. Rating: B+
Commentary: The animation is excellent and the premise promises to be fun. Never underestimate the strength of DreamWorks which seems to be riding a box office high that even Pixar might become envious of soon.

Oscar Chances: Best Animated Feature seems like a given at this point. A win will depend on just how beloved Brave is.
