On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Only because I have to choose one do I pick Men in Black 3. I don’t know if it’s going to be any good, but of the two releases this week, at least one of them has Josh Brolin
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
Because it’s the only release that looks halfway interesting.

Neither is my cup of tea.

Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom, with strong cirtical response from Cannes, looks like one worth catching up with.

Tripp Burton

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Men in Black 3 looks like a fun enough excursion, especially if you have fond memories of the original.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
Moonrise Kingdom got great reviews in Cannes, and is the must see film of the week.
