On Sundays, we list the weekend’s upcoming films along with previews of trailers and posters. On Wednesdays, we preview all of the upcoming new wide and limited releases hitting the theaters the coming weekend. On Fridays, we’ll now tell you what you should see. We pose two questions each week to our contributors and their responses are posted below.

Wesley Lovell

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Snow White and the Huntsman is an easy choice…especially when up against a film that looks poorly constructed.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
It may be difficult to watch, but Pink Ribbons, Inc. seems to be the most important film releasing this week.

Peter J. Patrick

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
For Greater Glory – I said this the other day, but it bears repeating. The Directorial debut of special effects wizard Dean Wright might ordinarily be something that goes straight to DVD, but the Mexican government’s 1920s systematic murder of priests and little children has so many parallels in what is going on toiday in Syria that its importance can’t be minimalized.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
A Cat in Paris – The Oscar nominated Animated Feature in a newly dubbed version voiced by Marica Gay Harden, Anjelica Huston, Matthew Modine and Steve Baum is in limited release so you might have to wait for the DVD, but if you can find it, it’s murder mystery plot makes it worth checking out even if you’re not a major fan of animation.

Tripp Burton

1. Which of the two new wide releases would you choose to recommend above the others?
Snow White could be an interesting diversion on a hot summer’s weekend.
2. Are there any limited release features this week that you would recommend (and why)?
A Cat in Paris is an Oscar nominee, and looks adorable and fun.
