Commentary: If it’s one thing Tyler Perry’s production arm has done, it’s create inventive poster designs that buck the current traditions. This sultry design is perfectly crafted for the target audience. 		Rating: B+
Commentary: His past movies have hardly looked interesting, but Tyler Perry’s latest might just be the movie to turn his career around. This one looks to be a genuinely appealing film.

Oscar Chances: I still have my doubts, but if critics embrace it, the movie could make inroads with the Academy. And with Jurnee Smollett having briefly flirted with Oscar in the past, there is added potential.
