Can the post-Twilight Stephenie Mayer adaptation The Host live up to her other adaptations? I don’t think there’s as much love and appreciation for that series, but it should open strongly, but not to the level of The Hunger Games.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: There are a lot of interesting films this week, including the first Tyler Perry film that I’m actually interested in seeing, but my keenest interest is in the limited release of Room 237.
Peter J. Patrick: General releases continue to be non-starters for me, but films going into limited release this week show some hope.
Tripp Burton: The big studio releases this week are pretty uninspiring, but the smaller releases are looking pretty interesting this week!
