3D re-releases seldom do enough business to topple films at the box office these days and with curiosity seekers and horror enthusiasts possibly flocking to the remake of cult classic Evil Dead, I have a hard time seeing it as anything but this week’s victor.

Individual Commentaries

Wesley Lovell: While I think Trance might be interesting, just to see how Danny Boyle gets back to what he was best at, Jurassic Park 3D is easily my pick for the week. It was a film I fell in love with 20 years ago and I am curious what it would be like in 3D.
Peter J. Patrick: Another dismal looking week at the movies.
Tripp Burton: Hollywood continues to churn out one unnecessary release after another, but the limited releases continue to seem promising.
