Commentary: The reason this poster is only of five pairs of sunglasses and nothing else is probably lost on anyone who hasn’t watch the trailer and even those who have may still be confused as to why this is meant as an effective selling tool. It really isn’t. 		Rating: C
Commentary: I like Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation and Somewhere, so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, but this distracting trailer design is meant more to showcase how “adult” Harry Potter alum Emma Watson can be, but when you don’t have a compelling narrative to back up those highlights (or at least don’t showcase it), you’re going to struggle to appeal to very many.

Oscar Chances: After her stellar debuts with The Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation, she immediately became a director whose projects we looked at as being Oscar contenders. However, after Marie Antoinette was poorly received and Somewhere went nowhere, don’t expect The Bling Ring to do much.
