Commentary: If you know him and love him, this will sell you. If you don’t know anything about the franchise or the character, it’s just a bit unnerving. Still, Vin Diesel fans who aren’t already enamored with Riddick will likely follow along anyway. 		Rating: C+
Commentary: A sci-fi actioner with seemingly no important themes outside of the very common revenge motif and the kick-ass destruction milieu. Fans will be sold instantly. The rest of us probably won’t care.
