Game: Identify the Poster
Here are your posters for this week. Another Double Negative week.
Game: Quotes
Another old film, but a rather funny quote, I must say. Identify what Oscar-winning film the following quote is from:
Individual 1: “Do you mean to tell me he would turn the slaves against me? I’ve been his father!”
Individual 2: “Ambition knows no father.”
Game: Six Degrees of Oscar Separation
For more information on how to solve this six degrees puzzle, visit the original thread here: Film Fun Friday #1.
Alex got there first in three but there is at least one other connection in four:
Gene Tierney was in Advise & Consent directed by Otto Preminger
Preminger directed Liza Minnelli in Tell Me That You Me, Junie Moon
Liza was in Cabaret directed by Bob Fosse
Fosse was in The Little Prince with Gene Wilder
The quote sound like something from The Ten Commandments.
Great job with the posters this week. They both look slightly off-kilter. I will need to spend time looking closely at them for details.
Gene Tierney was in The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947) with
Rex Harrison who was in My Fair Lady (1964) which had a screenplay by
Alan Jay Lerner who also wrote the screenplay for The Little Prince (1974) with
Gene Wilder
