After a couple of years of being one of the top predictors of Oscar winners, the OFCS has scaled back recognizing smaller fare. While there are still lots of chances for overlap with Oscar, Best Picture will probably not be one of them. They’ve also gone a different direction for Best Actress than the vast majority of other groups, picking Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl. Apart from that, these selections seem to line up with many other groups giving awards this year.
