Review: (#1, C) There’s nothing special about this design. It takes elements from the film and adds a overbearing red background, a decently fitting title, and little else.

Review: (#1, B-) The narrative doesn’t get a lot of play time, allowing the visuals to do most of the work. Although it looks fairly generic in some respects and doesn’t want the audience to know what it’s about, the animation is strong, not specifically because it’s anime but in spite of it. There are a couple of compelling frames in the trailer that suggest something more than your standard anime production.
