Review: (#1, B+) While I don’t love the empty yellow space in the design, it is not only reminiscent of those made for its predecessor but has a certain creative charm with the azure blues pair well with the deep yellow.
(#2, A-) It’s not often cerulean blue is used in poster design, which makes the effort stand out. There’s a lot of empty space but the intriguing details, the varying positions and sizes of actors and the occasional affectations (like the syringe), make this a compelling design.
Trailer Rating: B / B

Review: (#1, B) The first film looked like it might be fun and that level of demented excitement comes through in this trailer as well. If you haven’t seen the first film, a trailer like this might encourage you to check it out, having been enticed by the work of Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively in this compelling trailer.
(#2, B) Another strong trailer that presents plenty of intrigue and excitement and works well at eliciting interest from fans of the original film. That the plot still feels a bit amorphous is its only real hindrance.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
