Synopsis:

From IMDb: “What if rainbows were actually time travelers flying across the sky? On his first flight through time, Arco (10) crash lands from the year 3000 into our near future. His fall is witnessed by a little girl, Iris, who helps him return home.”

Review: (#1, C+) The rainbow aspect of the film’s theme is beautifully realized but it’s a rather simplistic design with limited creative energy and a lack of emotional evocation.

(#2, C+) A visually striking design with the subtle, natural colors of a futuristic society and the pop of color with the flying figure. It might create enough curiosity to draw in a viewer but might not be broadly appealing.

(#3, B) A colorful design that draws your attention well, there’s a lot of empty space but it doesn’t seem to detract from the foreground images because of the use of colors within it.

Review: (#1, C) A confused narrative dynamic plays out in this vibrant and semi-futuristic drama. What the purpose of the time travel element is or the excitement of its events are is not evident.

(#2, B) This second trailer isn’t at all confusing and sets up the action of the film with some stunning visuals and an interesting premise that isn’t entirely given away.

(#3, B-) The premise isn’t well explained in this third outing but is elevated by the number of prominent cineaste-filmmakers offering unbridled support for the film. It’s not likely to change the trajectory of interest in the picture but at least for those who were curious and are also film enthusiasts to give them the prod to check it out.
