Review: (#1, C+) While not terribly detailed, it has a certain creepy factor that should get horror fans interested a little in its potential.

(#2, B-) It takes its title literally and that’s perfectly ok considering how well the subject matter is handled. Background details that make sense while the middle-ground information tells the viewer plenty about the film.

Trailer Rating: B- / C+

Review: (#1, B-) Blending Children of the Corn with Friday the 13th might be an interesting concept but it certainly doesn’t feel entirely unique. This trailer does make a case for fun and exciting slayings, which will appeal to horror fans, but the driving force of the film doesn’t make enough sense to be engaging.

(#2, C+) The world building of the first trailer improves upon the story while this trailer wants to focus on the mayhem and slaughter. Horror aficionados will enjoy the first trailer more but those who just want to pass a couple of hours in the theater to be entertained might pick the second.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
