Review: (#1, C) While the look on her face is interesting and the whispering element looks almost like the lead actor, it’s such a static choice for a film that wants to seem more inventive than your average horror pic.
(#2-#4, C) These designs are either a confused attempt to find an approach that works or they are designed to progress along with the film’s storyline. In either way, they are well drawn but unnecessarily simplistic. If the attempt was from a testing perspective, then they have not succeeded. If it was for a reflection of the film itself, then perhaps they are more successful but perhaps give too much away in some senses.
Trailer Rating: C / B

Review: (#1, C) It’s difficult to make a film that boasts a unique premise look hopelessly familiar. There’s a mystery here the audience might be interested in figuring out but the action is dull and plodding and there’s just not enough in the way of thrills in the trailer to make it genuinely enticing.
(#2, B) Far more engaging and intriguing than the first trailer, this one sets the expectation that this is an evenly-paired grudge match between an automaton and a belligerent end user. There are moments that make for some droll dark humor but oftentimes the shock factor seems forced.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
