Review: (#1, C+) The concept is fine, with the cityscape in the ski-masked profile. Yet, the affectations to the mask, which is given a rough edge despite having a vertical rib seems a little too forced or suggests a bad photo edit, neither option of which is appealing.

(#2, B-) Putting the characters into the underpass is an interesting way of designing a stacking character design but the vast empty spaces outside of this are glaring and make the darker elements a bit more difficult to focus on. (#3, C) A simplistic effort that looks like it was thrown together in a few minutes without concern for creative vibrancy. (#4, C+) A familiar style done slightly differently than many others of its kind. It’s interesting to look at to an extent but is ultimately bland.

(#5-#12, C) We start with a bland array of character posters that while unique in how they allow for the actors to be partially cut off are just not that interesting.

Trailer Rating: C+ / C+

Review: (#1, C+) A conventional crime caper with modestly interesting elements but presenting little to get excited about. It looks like a film we’ve seen many times but with new actors, none of whom look like they are working for anything other than a paycheck.

(#2, C+) It’s unclear what the purpose of this second trailer is? Explain more of the plot? Try to get the viewer more interested in the players? There’s not enough new here to justify its own existence and it seems unlikely to appeal to very many people.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
