Review: (#1, C+) It’s certainly a bit cheap looking with some poor image manipulation but at least it has some details that the viewer can examine. That title is oppressively big. (#2, B-) This design may not have a lot of detail but it has symbolism and that’s at least a compulsion to check out the film.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) Cinecittà is the kind of ephemeral filmmaking setting that directors want to find something dreamlike to involve it. While Hollywood has had plenty of such films, the legendary Italian locale hasn’t gotten enough attention. This trailer does some nice work selling that to the audience but the narrative seems a bit tepid by cinematic standards.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
