Review: (#1, C+) Having a cute dog on your poster is always a bonus but when it’s accompanied by familiar images and concepts, it doesn’t shine the same luster. The colors are thankfully irregular for horror designs so that is a bonus.

(#2, C) While it plays somewhat into the idea of a hand petting a dog, there’s just nothing to the design other than a wasted background and predictable title coloring.

Review: (#1, C+) Taking familiar horror tropes and infusing them into a film where a dog is the victim rather than a human is quite an intriguing concept. The film doesn’t quite sell itself as something unique, though, and that makes it difficult to find something compelling in the trailer apart from its canine star.

(#2, B-) A bit more exciting than the prior design, allowing the audience to see something with more plot to it but without conveying said plot. Were they able to combine this and the prior trailer design, they might have had something far more engaging than either of these designs on their own.
