Poster Rating: D+

Review: It’s not like we haven’t seen similar themes on posters. It quickly and easily suggests which person the legs want to be with. That is, however, all the poster does. There’s no other substance and there’s lots of blank white space making it seem more appropriate an image for a postcard than for a movie poster.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: Although this isn’t from a mainstream film company, the trailer makes it feel that way. Hoping to bring in a male audience to a romantic comedy by featuring beautiful women who kiss and Heather Graham coming to terms with their sexuality may misfire as the film doesn’t look like it has much valuable to say on the subject. It looks more like a marketing gimmick than an actual film.

Oscar Prospects:

Threesome wasn’t the kind of film Oscar voters would go for and they ignored the more critically acclaimed Brokeback Mountain. I don’t think they’re going to be any more fogiving of a film about lesbian advances.
